VLT® Integrated Servo Drive ISD® 510 is a high-performance distributed servo motion system consisting of a central power supply (SAB), drive modules and cable infrastructure. Motion control is integrated into the drive to arrange the motion sequence independently. This eliminates the need for a central PLC and provides a highly flexible drive concept.
    The distributed configuration of the drive unit facilitates the assembly, installation and operation of the system. Depending on the application, SAB can power up to 64 drives in the servo drive system.

Features and advantages
    The daisy chain ring fiber optic cable is used to supply DC power to the drive from the central SAB, which is easy and quick to install. Since the open system supports EtherCAT® and POWERLINK, it can ensure fast process communication with 192 motor models, and can choose the most suitable drive that meets the application torque and power requirements.
